Located in Kings Mountain and borders Shelby. More than 2,000 acres with 57 miles of shoreline and 1,660 acres of water.
The lake averages 50 ft. deep and there are 10 public boat ramps. Moss Lake serves as an active recreational destination for boaters, fishermen and water tournaments.
The lake is stocked with bass and crappie. Campgrounds and picnic areas are available. Numerous fishing tournaments are held each year at Moss Lake.
