The Human Resources Department is responsible for providing a comprehensive support program to all departments throughout city government. This includes administration of:
Benefits programs
Pay Classification and compensation system
Employee relations
Management of HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems)
Policy development and interpretation
Recruitment and selection
Payroll
Safety and Risk Management – including, Worker’s compensation
Performance evaluation
Human Resource provides these services for over 275 employees – full time, part time, and seasonal. Each department has unique and challenging needs. We strive to be a strategic partner to support all departments in achieving organizational goals.
