School Resource Officer

The Kings Mountain Police Department currently consist of (5) School Resource Officers assigned to schools within the city limits of Kings Mountain. These officers focus on early intervention in the lives of the youth and provide security for the schools within our community. Officers assigned to these positions receive specialized training and work in conjunction with school staff on security and safety issues as well.
