It is with great sadness to announce the passing of our Police Chief, Jerry Tessneer.  Chief Tessneer passed away Monday morning, October 1st at his home.  He has been a valued member of our family and team for 26 years and will be missed by all.  He was promoted to Chief on June 30, 2017.   Chief Tessneer’s positive attitude and desire to be of service to others, even during his darkest hours, has touched us all.  Please keep his family, the Police Department and City staff in your prayers as we remember the life of such a wonderful, kind-hearted man who made a significant contribution to our community.
