The Codes Administration and Engineering Standards Department’s mission statement is “Safeguarding Our Community through Code Compliance”.   We are here to assist our citizens and future citizens with the following services:

• Building Codes, Permits and Inspections
• Minimum Housing Inspections
• Zoning Ordinance Administration and Enforcement
• Floodplain Administration and Assistance with the National Flood Insurance Program
• NPDES Phase II Stormwater Quality Administration
• Facilitates Reviews and Compliance of all Development Projects within the City’s Jurisdiction
• Administers the City’s Engineering Standards
• Community Appearance Ordinance Administration
